Event Updates
as requested
It has come to my attention that I haven’t provided a proper announcement regarding in-person events for the rest of the year. Well, consider yourself heard and acknowledged. For lose local—or planning to be in the next couple months—here’s where I’ll be and when:
Readers of the Valley: Booksgiving
Sunday, Nov 8th: 10am-3pm
Dave & Buster’s Desert Ridge
21001 N Tatum Blvd
Phoenix, AZ 85050
**FREE EVENT**

Tea & Tropes’ Snowed In Fantasy Event
Friday, Dec 4th: 10am-11pm
Saturday, Dec 5th: 9am - 7pm+
Mesa, AZ Convention Center
I don’t yet have all the details for the Snowed In event, but if you’re a fantasy lover, this one will be FUN! Friday, there is a Fae Light Festival and Market, and Saturday night they host a Noculus Illuminara Ball. This is a ticketed event.

And that’s it for 2026!
I am hard at work on book three, and considering this will conclude my Curse of Fate series, the pressure is felt. It’s taken a lot of creative stamina already, and I’m roughly 1/3 of the way through. That said, I expect to take a rather large step back from social media, and possibly even this newsletter until I’m finished drafting.
It’s not a goodbye, rather an opportunity for me to focus on myself, my family, and this story while minimizing distractions—however pleasant they may be. Book three demands my full creative attention, and I fear the only way to do it justice is to eliminate other potential preoccupations.
For now, I plan to check in via newsletter quarterly or thereabouts. If anything exciting happens, you’ll be the first to know.
In the meantime, if you are looking for a new, obsession-worthy, read, you must pick up The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion by Beth Brower, if you haven’t already. And if you’ve seen the hype, rest assured they are entirely worth it.
I am engrossed.
Tip: Treat Vol. 1 and Vol 2. as one book.
Vol. 1 had me questioning what I was reading and why. By the end of Vol. 2, I was fully invested and have been devouring these delightful little stories. I cannot tell you the number of times I’ve laughed out loud whilst listening. Emma is hilarious, endearing, whimsical, heartwarming, and courageous.
Tip 2: The audiobooks are fantastic. The narrator is an exceptional talent.
Until next time. Enjoy and be well.
